Rebounding; A lymphatic system cleanse and workout.

What is rebounding?

Rebounding is just jumping on a trampoline, and it's not just for kids.

Rebounding has outstanding benefits for your health, so it's worth considering for every adult that wants better health. Not only will it stimulate and help cleanse your pump-less and stagnant lymphatic system, but by jumping up and down, it also stimulates the 37 trillion cells in your body and will give you a nice boost of energy.

NASA has done research on this very important and convenient exercise. Astronauts can lose muscle mass and bone in as little as 14 days in outer space.

So they use rebounding to help rebuild and reverse the osteoporosis that has occurred in some astronauts.

Jumping 3-5 days a week for 10 minutes will improve your energy, alertness, lung capacity, digestion, posture, gate, and balance reduce your risk of falling.

Ten minutes of rebounding increases your number of white blood cells for up to an hour after a jump. The lymphatic system transports the immune cells throughout your body, so rebounding helps enhance your immune function to help ward off infections, viruses, bacteria and help prevent diseases such as cancer. Our lymphatic systems hold toxins.

The horizontal movements of jumping on a trampoline help the body detox.

Rebounding is for people of all ages.

You do not have to jump to get the benefits. Just bouncing will do it, and it's fun too!

Rebounding is for people of all ages.

I'm in my late 50's, and I use a trampoline with a handle—the one pictured above.

I warm up on it by pivoting right to the left and taking deep breaths.

After 2 minutes, I hold on to the handle and jump, counting to 20. Then I slowly bounce for 2 minutes, taking deep breathes allowing my breathing to slow a bit. Then do another "burst of 20". I do that three times and then get on the floor and stretch and do a little yoga. Afterward, I felt as though I had accomplished something good for myself.
