Fun books for kids, but especially boys.

I've been homeschooling Ben since Kindergarten; he's soon to be 13. We both love to read, but sometimes it's been a challenge to find engaging books for him. Through the years, we've read dozens upon dozens of books. And here are our favorites......

Each book solves a problem that Franklin is facing. His family and friends are always nearby to help. We own all of these wonderful books.

This book has a very sweet

understandable message, and illustrations.

It would make a great gift.

Age 5-7 A boy and his dog makes the best stories.

We adored the many books of Henry and Mudge.

The unexpected adventures of Jack and Annie will leave children hanging on to your every word. These are a fun way to get imaginations going.

Age 8-12 Henry And Ribsy -

These engaging and very relatable books were hands down our all time favorite.

There are more books in this series.

We love Beverly Cleary 💕

Ages 8-12 - Trapped in a video game has been my son, Ben's favorite "read alone" book series. They also have a couple of Escape from a Video Game books that follows these.

It's always been a challenge to find engaging books for a teen boy,

let alone an interesting Christian book for a teen boy.

The Christian book is a 5-minute devotional book.

This book is stellar in its presentation every.single.day! The posts are, in a word, REVENANT. My son, Ben, is 12. Almost every night, when he reads one aloud to me, he says, "another one written just for me." Each devotional takes 5 minutes max, and they always plant seeds of goodness with some gentle corrections. There is a question after each devotion that has brought about some good conversations between him and me. This book is a treasure, and I highly recommend it.
