From foster child to adopted child

From the heart of an adoptive mom-

They come in all different shapes and sizes—many different abilities and disabilities. One thing they all have in common is that they all have potential. That potential deserves to be cared for and nurtured. It longs for acceptance and praise. To belong somewhere and to someone. She sees it. She smiles and claps for it. Her heart says, "you will be mine, and I will be yours" The ultimate potential for a foster child is the potential to be adopted. To be accepted and loved for who they are and who they are not. This is my son Gregory. He was born deaf and paralyzed. He was also born with the patience of Job and a great sense of humor. He knows what's essential in life and what is not. He is strong and incredibly happy. He's easily satisfied and knows instantly when something is wrong with me. How God worked all of this out, I will never fully understand, but He did. By choice, I am his, and he is mine. 💕
